MindStreet's Good Days Ahead™ (GDA) platform is the result of over two decades of National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research in computer-assisted cognitive behavioral therapy (CCBT). Our work has consistently demonstrated that digital CBT can deliver outcomes equivalent to in-person therapy—at a fraction of the time and cost.
Nearly one in five adults experience a mental health condition each year, yet fewer than half receive treatment. Traditional therapy, while effective, is limited by access, clinician shortages, cost, and stigma.
MindStreet exists to bridge that gap—bringing the best of evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy to millions who would otherwise go untreated. Our platform makes proven therapy methods accessible, affordable, and scalable without compromising clinical integrity.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented psychotherapy that helps individuals identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. Developed by Dr. Aaron Beck at the Beck Institute, CBT has been validated in over 400 clinical trials and is considered the gold standard for treating depression, anxiety, and related conditions.
CBT works by addressing the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. When individuals learn to challenge negative thoughts and develop healthier responses, symptoms improve—and resilience grows.
In the 1990s, Dr. Jesse Wright (University of Louisville) and Dr. Michael Thase (University of Pennsylvania) pioneered computer-assisted cognitive behavioral therapy (CCBT)—a digital method to deliver CBT safely, consistently, and efficiently.
CCBT delivers the same core principles of CBT through interactive lessons, multimedia, quizzes, and self-reflection tools. It reduces the total clinician time required by over 65%, enabling broader access while maintaining equivalent clinical outcomes.
MindStreet's Good Days Ahead™ program builds on this pioneering work. Designed as a clinician-supported digital therapeutic, GDA integrates structured CBT lessons with self-paced exercises and assessments to reinforce skill development and improve emotional regulation.
"Computer-assisted CBT has shown equivalent outcomes to in-person therapy with only one-third of the clinician time."
— Wright et al., American Journal of Psychiatry
MindStreet's Good Days Ahead™ (GDA) is the world's most validated computer-assisted CBT program. Built on 25+ years of peer-reviewed research, GDA delivers measurable improvements in depression and anxiety symptoms through a unique hybrid model—combining self-directed learning with clinician oversight.
GDA's structured modules guide users through clinically tested CBT exercises, while interactive content and progress tracking enhance engagement and outcomes. Clinicians monitor progress through a dedicated dashboard, enabling personalized feedback and efficient care delivery.

Over the past two decades, CCBT—particularly Good Days Ahead™—has undergone multiple NIH-funded trials and meta-analyses demonstrating consistent effectiveness in reducing depression and anxiety symptoms.
A landmark 2005 RCT led by Dr. Wright compared in-person CBT, computer-assisted CBT, and a waitlist control group. Both CBT and CCBT produced significant and equivalent reductions in depression scores, outperforming the control group in every measure.
A subsequent 2020 NIH multi-site study (University of Louisville & UPenn) reaffirmed that CCBT achieves identical clinical outcomes using one-third of clinician time (5.5 hours vs. 16.6 hours).

MindStreet continues to partner with top-tier universities and research institutions to advance the science of digital therapy. Ongoing and upcoming studies explore the use of CCBT in chronic pain, perinatal depression, PTSD, and emerging research using fMRI brain imaging to analyze therapy-driven neural changes.
Our goal is to continually refine CCBT through next-generation data analytics, personalized AI coaching, and integrations with prescription digital therapeutics (PDTs).
Behind every data point is a person who learned to think differently, feel better, and regain control of their mental well-being. MindStreet's mission is not only to validate outcomes through research—but to transform lives through science-backed therapy that's easy to access and proven to work.
"I learned skills that changed how I think and cope every day. It's like therapy that fits into real life."
— GDA Program Participant, 2024
